Mr. Wales of Wikipedia has launched his wikisearch. Is this the next big thing? What do you think of Wikisearch? Will it throw Google out of business?

It can throw itself out of business I guess, you can't compare it to Google at all, it is not an apple to apple comparison, the gap is still too far away, the results are few and pitiful, a lot of work needs to be done if it were to be a credible threat to Google. At this moment, zero threat at all.

No way! Wikiasearch is a joke. They should have waited to put forward a proper Search Product before launching.

I don't think it will but I hope that it will, personally I do not want Google to launch their Wiki and eat Wikipedia alive, I hope to see Wikipedia standing strong but seeing their search engine's launch really give me doubts, hopefully they will improve by the leaps and bounds needed to catch up with Google.
