    Its beneficial but not easy one :) . I have tried my self , Actually they do not accept marketing material .

    wikipedia links are nofollow so there is no seo benefit as you will not get credit for the links.

    Sure, wikipedia is one of the top quality website, you will receive numbers of targeted traffic from it if you have link on related topic. Although wikipedia is nofollow, it is still help in SERP since nobody can prove that nofollow link never help in SERP
