Is Wikipedia Content copyrighted or public ?

    The Wikimedia Foundation does NOT own copyright of articles and illustration...However, they do own the copyright on the Wikipedia/Wikimedia logos (trademarked) :)

    Wikipedia contents are owned by the public. Contents there are contributed by internet users. Hence, they are not copyrighted.

    Yeah. It's a wikipedia is a collaborative website from all users... therefore, it's not copyrighted

    Wikipedia content is written by users of the wikipedia so its a OPEN PUBLIC CONTENT
    But even if you use , it would be duplicate in eyes of search engines, so i wouldn't advice it

    you can use Wikipedia content. but it can't help you in search engines. because search engine like only original and fresh content.
