Is what I'm doing with RSS Feeds on my forum bad?

    Hi Everyone,

I'm new to SEO and I just started my first website in December and had a question about RSS feeds and internal links.

My website is basically a vBulletin video game forum and I have an entire section dedicated only to video game and entertainment RSS feeds. Many of the feeds that I'm using are coming from Xbox.com, Yahoo.com and RottenTomatoes.com. So many of the posts from my "RSS Bot" are just very short posts (snipits) with a permalink.

Between the all the video game and entertainment RSS feeds, my "RSS Bot" is posting about 100 to 200 new threads daily.

First Question: I notice the spiders are crawling this RSS section of the forum for a majority of the day, since there are many new posts each day. Is Google and other search engines going to consider this spam and therefore hurt my SERP?

Second Question: I'm using Google Webmaster Tools and noticed under "Links" that I have a bunch of "internal links". I have a signature setup on the RSS Bot with an image link to the forum and a text link to the main page in the signature. So each time it posts a new thread I guess these count as internal links. Is this a bad thing or good?

If you want to look at it yourself, the link to my RSS section is: http://www.gamersthrone.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=27

Let me know what your thoughts are on this... thanks :)
