Yes. Most definitly. Western Union is to send money to family and friends. NOT to conduct business transactions. Payments are irreversible and you'll get burned if you send money to someone you don't know.
If you get the product before paying WU I think it's safe. But if you pay first in WU I think that can smell fishy....
damn hm.m.. so do u think its safer to pay via pay pal ? Noting that with WU, i have to pay extra charges and thats quite alot.
WU is surely not for business but may be he/she must be asking coz paypal don't support his country or he/she don't use it so if you buy his/her services or products first then you can pay via WU but its more likely for friends and family .. Thanks PHYza
WU is safe, not a scan or some thing. But for the transaction, the seller can take the money at once, and as a buyer you can't do anything. So before you can confirm the seller is reliable do not send him money by WU. BTW, I have many customers send me the money by WU, of course most of buyer use PP.
WU is safe if you are the seller you are assured that you will get paid once the buyer sends the money through WU
WU is the best and the safe, however you have to pay the seller AFTER he/she done the work. mostly of my friends get scammed because they pay first .
WU is safe to transfer money, I use it regularly and never encountered any problem. But sending the money to the seller without receiving first the goods or services is the risky part of the transaction.
YEah, i agree to some of the opinions. Depends on the transaction, whether online services or buying actual products. For paypal it is safe when negotiating online services buys and sells. For WU it is best you personally know the person you are having transaction with or else it is definitely a scam.
its still depends on the transaction theres a quite reason why he prefer to WU maybe he got no paypal Card . . .
