Yes, i think load time of a website does effects page rank factor indirectly, the reason for that is it may decrease the number of visitors to your site.

Which will effect the statistics of site and eventually, it will effect page rank.

Yes it does. Load time distract users and they go back from your web page. Less load time is important to increase the conversion rate.

Of course the speed a website loads is very important, as well as for your website’s rank but also for those that want to visit it...i wouldn’t wait more than 7-10 seconds for a website to load...

Yes, page load time does matter, but it doesn't affect your PageRank, it affects the way Google places you in the SERPs.

You can use various plugins to speed up your blog. They can be free or even paid also.

A quick tip to increase speed is to make your images .png instead of jpg. It definately makes a difference. 7-10 seconds is EXTREMELY LONG. It shouldn't be more than a couple seconds. Hope this helps.

Yes because you never forget that PR is how Google rank you base on your site quality.
Poor loading site lead high bounce rate and low conversion rate , this will in Google analytic data which become a source for Google to identify your site quality.
