Hey I have this mix emotion on getting into web flipping business after reading both positive and negative responses on it on DP. Is this method dead or still can make money from..? Anyone doing web flipping, please share your thoughts and ideas on it. It will be great if you can recommend me a free ebook for a beginner in this web flipping business. Thanks a lot!
Seems still that some people are good at it and others are not; I haven't really found out what makes some people better than others. On SP I see people with bad grammar and spelling sell bad sites for a lot of $$$ and I see cool sites with well written sales pages go for almost nothing. Why? I don't know. I tried to sell one of my moneymaking sites recently (doing > $400/month) and got $20 as highest bid. So didn't sell. But why that happens... I see sites with no income and 'promises' go for $5000-10000 sometimes. Anyway; I don't think it is dead; I think there is just more competition.
Thanks for the information, I think i need to try it out to see it for myself. I just need an ebook to start it out...
I concur with the other poster SP has a lot to sell. I also think that you should list it or pitch it (to) with investors instead of flipping it per se.
i think it is still a good business but i think it has changed. i think it is easier to sell sites that have some traffic and that are ready to go rather than sites where people have to do stuff to get the site off and running. i think if you build a simple site cheaply you can make money selling it but not very much. if you build a site and add some good articles to it, a forum, a blog and a good product from clickbank and get some traffic going to it i think that is an attractive package to sell. cheers Tim
