I have seen a news from China website about PP suspended your account if you are using VCC to verfiy. Most of the Credit Cards has 3 years expiry day but VCC only has 6 months- 1 year. Is it the reason why PP suspended the accounts with VCC verified?
Well I've never heard that as I know many people using PayPal accounts for a long time and they've verified their PayPal accounts with VCCs. So this might just be a rumor or happened with few people. It's working just fine for everyone else
I'm also curious about this too.. I have just verified my new paypal here in my country hope this will not get limit access..
just be a rumor or happened with few people.....(I am the one). I have a vcc verified account 1 month ago. I received 2 payments the total amount is 20$ something. I rejected the payment as the items is no longer available...after that, I got suspended. Why? I also added one more new email address...
How can you say this was because of VCC? There could be any other reason too. Yes, I do know few people who got suspended right after they added vcc but I know most of the people who verified using VCC and their accounts are still working fine. Till the date, PayPal has no problem with VCC but no one knows when they make a policy not to accept VCCs as verification method.
I noticed that many of the VCC sellers here are from India and it seems that they use the HDFC Bank Netsafe account to issue the VCC which are supposed to be for their own personal usage. They however take advantage of this and sell them. In fact, selling it would be a breach of HDFC Bank's policy. A VCC defeats the purpose of paypal verification which is supposed to determine who you are based on your bank's verification process. The VCC is anonymous and it does not do anything apart from fooling Paypal. Since most VCC are from India Netsafe accounts, the VCC number would also be generated from India and thus if you are from India, you may get by. If you are from elsewhere, it could look suspicious which they may ask you to submit credit card statement, utility bills and ID to verify your identity. You basically use it at your own risk.
