Well.. what you explained seems like cookie stuffing. If you place an affiliate cookie from your Page on the user's browser, without the user clicking anything, it's cookie stuffing and it's not allowed by Clickbank.
The user needs to click on your hoplink so that a cookie is placed in his/her browser, you're not allowed to force the cookie into his browser, the user needs to decide whether he'll click on your hoplink

I thought cookie stuffing was placing more than 1 cookie on your page that dosent relate to a product that your promoting. The way i figured was if they go to my site and decide to buy it but they type in the URL directly and don't click on my hoplink how would i make any money and should i get a cut for referring them?

Most of the visitors are lazy to type the link and buying the product instead of clicking the link directly from your page and that is obvious. And placing a cookie on a browser without the user's permission is cookie stuffing.

No, it's still cookie stuffing. Placing an affiliate cookie in the users browser directly, without him clicking anything, is cookie stuffing, even if it's only one cookie, you're not allowed to do it. He must click your hoplink so that he receives your cookie
