Is using Adsense legal

    Hi,

    One of my international friend working here on OPT (OPT is the optional training period. The international students after completing their Master's can work on OPT before getting H1 visa).Can he use adsense on his website which he is planning to start?Is there any tax problem for him?

    Using adsense is legal. No problems.

    Just don't break the Adsense TOS!

    if he starts his website by the end of this month, does he suppose to file tax for next april?How should he file tax?

    You can discuss tax issues with your Income Tax practitioner.

    You need to pay tax, on Adsense income as applicable in your country.

    He can start earning adsense income and there is no problem. He will also have to pay taxes.
