I have a couple of sponsorship opportunities for one way links on two pr3 sites that end in .US that are in my niche. A Few questions: Both of the domains are identical except for one ends in a R and the other a S, does this matter to the search engines? Does domain priority and link value matter if the sites are .US and not .COM?.
domain extensions dont make any different in ranking and SEO, they are all treated the same way. com net us all the same
the name of the domain itself makes a big difference, but yea the extension doesnt. Sometimes its good to have a .info because if they search for <YOUR KEYWORD> info, then the .info in your domain will also count as match.
No impact from SEO perspective, but a user (say from outside USA) may gets retarded after looking at the "yoursite.us" style domain by thinking of it as US related site only.
