    Hi
Just started my activities in twitter, When i find about twitter with blogging and internet marketing, I saw a lot bloggers are liking it. What are the advantages of twitter for marketing?
I guess these are the reason
    • Connect with people
    • Generate Traffic
    • Blog promotion can be done by easily
    • More advance than Facebook status update
    • Easy to use

Anyone tell more reasons here and what are the ways to increase our blogging with internet marketing?

Twiiter is a very good tool for marketing.

The method is not just to post promo links for your blogs or products though as this will just stop people from following you.

Twitter is certainly becoming one of the quickest ways to market, as can be seen with how Twestival was spread around so rapidly to be participated in by ~200 cities around the world this coming Thursday. Twitter is the short message spreading tool for now, and marketing on it can be a large time-saver. Also, as it is the "new" thing for now, it has added momentum. Carl Ocab did an interview of John Chow through Twitter today.

Even President Obama is a fan of Twitter. It's amazing how the founders of twitter built a business model around a simple conversation starter - What you doing?

The top benefit is that every person following you gets an almost-instant update when you post to your blog (if you install the Twitter extension, like I do).

That increases the chances that you will get visits dramatically.

True. This is a good way to get your readers back each time you post.

Basically I think it is just its simple interface and an easy way to communicate with numerous people easily. You really need a ton of followers though for it to be worthwhile.

Twitter is ok I think but not the best way to promote stuff. I see a lot of people use it to promote their blogs and stuff. I saw a blog post today on how twitter is limiting you to 2000 subscribers now.

Yes, it is. Especially if your followers are from the same niche.

Not true. I only have 600+ followers and I get about 300 visits a day, just from Twitter (noted in my referrer logs).

It doesn't take thousands of followers to get rolling.

Pretty impressing. How long did it take you to get 600 followers?

    Impressive? Really? Thanks :)

I did it in 2 days. I think it's a very low number considering that some people who almost nobody has heard of have 3000+ followers. I have a very successful blog, so I'm actually surprised that I don't have more by now.
