    From spending a lot of time on Twitter and only getting 'ok' responses I can say that you shouldn't really go into it trying to develop revenue, use it to spread the word and develop traffic then build up a reputation and then start to monetise a bit. You should know though that you#ll never be earning mega bucks

    For me twitter is a tool for money making in an indirect way. You can't make money by just tweeting. You should join affiliate networks, manufacture or retail products. Then Tweet them, if they click and buy! Then that's how you earn money.

    I make money from Twitter.

    It is not a lot as I am just starting out, about $10 a week but it is 100% profit and I am only experimenting and expect this to rise considerably soon.

    I notice that when i check my awstats i do notice that people have visited from Twitter so i guess any extra visitors to your site is better than nothing.

    I think it can be a timewaster, because it's a junkyard. But I guess it has its uses for some people. I have offered to give away stuff for free and nobody bite.
