The problem with twitter is your content is visible for a very short time because usually it gets buried underneath when a person is following lots of people and they're active tweeters. Its only when your tweet is so amazing that it goes virl and people retweet...then you see the real twitter traffic
I dont get alot of traffic from it but traffic has increased each month, but still no conversions from it.
No doubt twitter is best for increase your site traffic because this is only sharing palateform not entertainment, so you get traffic.
Tweeter play most important role for website traffic. twitter is very simply and user friendly for sharing.
The short answer is, yes. But, you most likely will only get as many clicks into your site as you have genuine followers. I get 100s of followers who are just there to get their name on my account, so my followers will see them and follow them as well. I also get lots of marketers, who have no interest at all in the content I link to, they just want to market their services to me and my followers. Cheers.
Yes it is, provided you have a good follower base. Also be sure to see that that your followers are real people and not bots.
yeah twitter is really help in traffic generation. it depends upon the kind of network and the number
i think it can be helpful just depends on the work put into it myself i think twitter would be harder to do then something such as facebook.
Twitter takes dedication to build a following. If you are just spewing junk out to Twitter, people will not respond. Maybe follow you, but not click on your links. Authentic engagement is the key.
It's depend your account and your posts... If you have an ideal account & share theme related posts then genuine followers comes and read & tweets your posts. It's very helpful site for gaining traffic.
I have 40k followers and it's gets me around 20 visits per day, and I tweet around 100 times a day. Not much but I still get some sales.
I don't think mindless spamming works very well regardless of the platform. If you genuienely interact with people via Twitter I don't see how it could fail to at least attract a few folks.
