Is Twitter helpful to get traffic on website?

i Just want to know "is twitter really helpful to get traffic? if yes then how much i get the hits par day on my website via twitter twit.

It depends purely on the people following you.I am not getting much traffic from twitter

 

Twitter is useful for increasing traffic but you should have lots of followers and your twitter accounts also should be index frequently.

 

you should have genuine followers. and retweets also plays main role. We can get the traffic.

 

You can get traffic, before that you must retweet, share and encourage other's tweet. Then will so start retweeting your tweets and traffic depends on the number of real and online followers at the time you tweet. I think you can get maximum traffic during morning (from my experience)

 

Ofcourse yes.. you can get good amount of visits to your website, but it will depends on your tweets and followers.

I think I might finally be getting the hang of Twitter. It is easy enough to automatically send blog posts to tweets but getting followers can be difficult. Using the search function is key. Search for various topics that are related to your niche and then begin talking with individuals who discuss those topics. Also follow them and hopefully they'll follow you back. Strike up a conversation with one of these people with lots of followers and you can possibly get followers from them. Then when you post a new blog they'll see your tweet about it and possible visit your site.

Of course I am still new with Twitter but this is my opinion based on my experiences

 

From my experience, unless you're a celebrity or a media guy with hundreds of thousands of followers, twitter isn't a great place for getting traffic.

 

With the right techniques, it's a fantastic place.

In my opinion, no. Twitter is loaded with people promoting their own products and could care less what anyone else is promoting.

If you're going to try Twitter a good way to try and get a good following who actually look at your tweets, tweet good jokes of the day or motivational quotes and not all product promotions, maybe one a day or one every other day.

yes Twitter will help your website to get traffic, if you use Twitter correctly, your tweets must be interesting, unique and you must update them. On the other hand it depends on how much followers you have.More followers you have the more chances your site has to get traffic.You can buy followers.It will be useful and fast and you don't spend much time to gain more followers.

 

People get a lot of traffic from Twitter.
Sometimes i usually get a few people registering on my forum www.adminmb.com

 

I agree with sar420. Twitter is not so popular to get traffic for any new or average twitter account. You need to have lots and lots of followers for your account then your tweet will be noticed by others and some people might end up coming to your site. Instead of Twitter I would prefer Facebook and various fan pages and groups which are there on the site to do some kind of promotion for my site

twitter is very helpful in getting traffic i have blog Money Making Boy where i talk about making money online, i was not getting much traffic someone told me to try twitter, after one year i got back on twitter again and now my traffic is two times as what it was before. You can too get so much traffic from twitter but the thing is that you have to be constant on it. There are many programes that promote your website/blog automatically in your twitter you can give it a try.............
