Is Twitter good for you ?

Twitter is a good place to share ideas and thought. and this becomes more useful when you are in any business. you can easily promote your business services and products on twitter. I will say Twitter has become a marketing tool for many.

 

I do ok from Twitter at one point I was doing really well from it then stopped using it for a while. Now I'm trying to get back into it.

 

There is no doubt. I am driving more traffic from twitter.

 

There are better ways to do the same things that Twitter lets you do. Like the good sir above me stated, there are advantages and disadvantages. Just like most things.

 

I dont like twitter. It send me too much spam everyday.

 

Twitter is the best to express your views. But i didnt' get many visitors from twitter. The traffic from twitter is very low. But loves twitter for expressing our ideas !!

 

Twitter is a best source for getting traffic.. just we need to concentrate more to get through..

only if you've real and at least 100 followers, and these followers are interested in your product or site.

other wise 1000 of followers and twitter does not worth, you must keep a link on your site FOLLOW US ON TWITTER , to get real followers.
also services like getting a 100 followers in a day is all scam blah blah

 

Twitter is my 2nd leader in social media sites, right behind stumbleupon as far as most stats.

I believe Twitter will be heading where Second Life went. It has the same investment companies, same PR companies behind it, and there are using mass media to create the same hype.

One of the websites I analyze the statistics for was lucky enough to be noticed by ashton kutcher when he had 3.5 million followers. ashton kutcher mentioned the website with a link and there where around 4K extra visitors due to that tweet. Then it was clear for me. Never ever pay for a tweet!

Twitter can be a helpful tool if they improve it heavily. But it is now more a contest of who has the most followers and currently just a hype.

Also a lot of people use it as an RSS feed reader. Using twitter they follow their news information, rather than using a RSS feed.

 

Yes, twitter is nice tool for instant sharing the information. it helps to get the instant traffic.

As a social tool for friends, it can have some benefits.

For business it can have PR benefits. Do a promotion using twitter and it will get more media coverage, due to the hype around it.

 

U just need to know- Whom to follow and what to tweet to make urself important between other's- Then twitter is really good.

 

I haven't used it before but I also heard that is good for followers which means more traffic. But I don't understand what is the meaning without followers... ?
