Is Twitter going to be bigger than article marketing?

It seems that DP has started putting ads with hyperlinks in the messages. Guess adsense was not enough.

 

The problem with twitter is that you need good number of followers and a good tool/method to post lots of automated messages to get visitors to your site. Unless you can devote some time to set this kind of system, your messages will be quickly buried in the heaps of messages that are posted every second.

Better to use both. They're also somewhat different ways to promote in nature and both have their place. Do not rely on only "the best" way/method/place, but diversify your traffic and backlink sources.

ya twitter going to be bigger than article marketing because twitter have 9 pr and alexa 11 so it means it have more traffic than aritcle sites

 

Twitter is good because tweets show up in google just like articles on google news. From my very first tweet without any followers I did get some traffic to my site. Twitter is a great marketing tool but article marketing will play a huge role in internet marketing forever.

If anything I would call twitter a end to email marketing. Its to much easier to build a huge list of twitter followers you can tweet your latest and greatest content too

 

Haha they are completely different types of marketing...I would choose article marketing over twitter any day though.
