Is Twitter Advertising Useful?

I know this is quite a big argument nowadays, is the traffic you get from advertising on twitter useful, or are they just 'blank' views.

My opinion is that every view is a good one, and increases your chances of getting clicks or a future user.

Also, does Digital Point allow the sale of twitter advertising now?

Twitter is extremely useful when you have followers who have similar interest like you and your niche

Now I tis not useful like few months back . Many people just add you and think that you will add them too . They do this thing to increase their followers and then offer stupid promotions here . Many people started creating fake account too . On dp you can find many guys offering such tools .

Is 314 followers a too small number to sell tweets? Even if they were at $0.30 or so?

People who genuinely use twitter tend to ignore those spammy tweets. When I see a tweet with a link in it, I am hesitant about the authors intentions. Then again, I understand the industry pretty well, and not everyone does.
Going with my gut however, I think most tweets with links fall on deaf ears. Twitter just isn't the same as it use to be.

If you have 2000 followers - how much traffic you can expect with one tweet ? Anyone can answer from his experience.

I don't think that anyone would pay for that.
Use your twitter account(s) for your own programs and see how it converts. :)

With the amount of spam twitter is building up, I would say no.

Advertising in any medium is only as useful as the people who are reading it. If you're following big-name celebrities who probably won't ever read your tweets, you're doing it wrong. The effectiveness of your ads will also depend on your ad copy - what you personally write. I've had mild success with Twitter, but it's starting to become a heavily populated and saturated medium.

It really depends on twitter, I find that if you can build your way up in a niche that people talk about and get a good following of 400ish people who regularly respond to your *frequent* updates its much more effective then just spamming with an account that has 7,500 random followers.

It depends on how well you focus on targeted users.
