    Guys,

I was just about to buy a license on Tweetadder when I found out that I can't access to the website anymore. And it has been like that for 10 days now.

    Does anyone know what's happening?

It was one of the software companies targeted in a recent set of lawsuits by Twitter.

Tweet Adder, Tweet Attacks and another 3 I can't think of off the top of my head.

Tweet Attacks, TweetBuddy and TweetAdder were the software makers targeted. Two others were targeted in that round of lawsuits, but they were alleged big time spammers and not software makers.

Thought Tweetdeck wasn't targeted, most developers have stopped creating software like this because of the threat of lawsuits.

Personally I wouldn't buy a license for any software now. Even if they're around now, there's no guarantee they wont be gone tomorrow.

Edit - Just had a little look at TweetDeck and it just looks like a desktop software to control multiple accounts and not an account adder or tweeter like others mentioned.

Are these programs designed to automatically add a bunch of people on a specific persons list? I never got into it and am curious

They had all sorts of functions.

I know a few of the features Tweet Attacks included, not sure about the others.

    Ability to:

Follow from list, Follow someone's followers, follow users a specified user is following.

Ability to auto-message, mention people. Also able to automatically post tweets from a list.

I'm sure there's a lot more, but it's not really something I looked in to much myself.

That software was too good to be true, but on the other hand SPAMMING was becoming too easy.

I stop buying programs like that and just use Twitterbot simple software program to mass unfollow people that dont' follow me back, to get targeted people to follow, and to be able to follow people by my niche keywords. Plus, I am able to setup automatic post to several Twitter accounts at one time. I had stop using Twitter for a couple of weeks just see if I would notice any degradation in the number of people that click on my affiliate links. When I first started using Twitter I was using Socialomph to setup my auto tweets and to get followers. But I found I could perform most of the same functions with just one program installed on my computer.

I also made sure that the auto tweets I setup were not all buy this right now tweets. I added some general tweets and I also added tweets from a news feed to give the impression that I was tweeting about what was going on in the world. As a result I noticed a huge increase in my clicks and sales. I setup my accounts to have every fourth tweet a sales pitch tweet.

One of the things I noticed about Twitter is that you need to get engaged in the Twitter community. You just can't send a bunch of affiliate tweets and expect people to continue to follow you. Twitter is providing me with lots of sales and optins. Especially, now that I am using it the right way.

If you look at the way Tweet Adder worked, it violated some rules of Twitter..so I'm not surprised that it's dead like that. :)
