I believe so. Mine has gone down too, but the most consistent trend is that I get far less traffic during the weekends. Overall the trend is somewhat down.
I have been noticing that a well with my stats, and others. . . but I don't know if i could quantify it as being weather related. It does make sense logically, schools are out, so my proxy is getting less.
My traffic drop aprox 20% on weekends. I guess that's because many people are using Internet only at office. I that was true, on summer vacations traffic will drop too.
i dont think it's because of the weather. But it's still depend what kind of website it is and who are the visitors. If it's about the travel or education maybe.
I think much of our traffic count depends on our niche. For example, I have a lot of free sermons on my website, and the traffic on Saturdays is very high. I suspect that is because pastors and other preachers and bible teachers who have bookmarked my website are getting some help for their next-day (Sunday) sermon. In fact, I have noticed that traffic skyrockets as Saturday wears on. Probably the preacher-procrastinators. By contrast, my Sunday traffic is consistently low. The preachers are taking a rest from preparing! Concerning your specific post question, no, to the contrary I've seen my highest week of traffic ever this past week. But again, there are too many factors involved with each website to generalize from anecdotal information.
i think most users are using computers at work or schools. therefore there are going to be less users due to school close during summer time.!
My SERP is pretty much the same for keywords, so that's why I was thinking it may be due to the weather.
I haven't really noticed a drop on my site but I've been wondering if it will have an effect later on.
Same to me, and the traffic from google dropped around 40%. Also the alexa rank keeps dropping! I have to do something with my website!
I guess it depends on your target audience. My traffic goes down on the weekends but my sales go up. i still haven't figured out why
Since last week I have also noticed some drastic change in visitors, especially from Google and loosed up to 40% traffic. I also have analyze the Alexa rank of my some top websites which shows the same trend every where.. I can understand that Summer Holidays may effect but difference is very high, which feels like suspicious..!!
I have to agree that for most traffic does go down on the weekends and holidays. Of course there is exceptions.
