Hi, Couple of days back I was just comparing the no. of clicks in my yahoo and google accounts with the no. of clicks in my affiliate network account . what i found was an utter disappointment and surprise. Both search engines were showing that I had 350 clicks. But my affiliate network was showing just 22 clicks, which was just around 6%. Which means only 6% people clicked on my affiliate link, after reaching my landing page. Which I think is very little %age. As I have used exactly same landing page for other offer with 90% CTR of my affiliate link from my landing page. When I discussed this matter with my affiliate manager. She told me to give her my google and yahoo tracking pixels to put on my affiliate offer page. Now my question is: Wheather is it safe to put tracking pixel on affiliate offer. Won't it give all my PPC keyword data to the affiliate network. If this is the case, how can I track my campaign without revealing my keywords to anyone. An early reply would be highly appreciated.
