Is torrent not safe to download movies

    Is torrent is not safe to download movies, i heard that it is a cause to spreading viruses, not sure it is true or not, please do clear if any one can, thanks

    This is true not just with torrent but all downloads from unofficial site. Just becareful and know where u are downloading from.

    Well even i know that virus could spread through torrent download. Still i prefer downloading movies through torrents, since its very easy to download. :cool:

    But i do system scan very often....:)

    that's why you need your antivirus up to date with the newest updater,.... have fun with that, i already done it :D

    torrents are easiest way to download a movie, no matter if creates virus. any unscanned download from net can cause a virus.

    Simply read the comments of the torrent. If there is a virus, people will let you know. I would only get ones with good comments. If there is no comments, I move on.

    Virus can spread in any passion over internet.
    It can spread even emails. So, do we stop using emails? ;)

    Trust good uploads and have a good anti virus installed.
    I use torrents to download movies i like and so far I faced no bad experiences.

    I think it's safe to download movies via torrent... just always check the file extension before opening a file.

    You risk being fined a hefty amount, I personally prefer to buy the real thing from stores to help support the artist/film maker, just be careful, I hear from alot of people that changing your IP address will help keep you undetected

    I also heard such rumors but I dont believe in it beacause I have never experienced a problem in downloading torrents.. Its just a rumor in my opinion.
