I've recently been doing a lot of article marketing but have space to do more articles if i wanted. But my question is, could i get a penalty from google for gaining too many links too fast? il probably be gaining about 1000 - 1500 links a week, but would like to know if its safe doing thins.

    Thanks for any replys.

1500 links a week it's pretty much for a new website. Try to start small and once your website gets fully indexed you may want to increase the backlinks number

You should be just fine. As long as your articles are original you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Depends on how old your website is, I would also consider a new site with 1500 links a week....spammy.. and I am indulgent :)... Imagine what Google thinks! :D

    ttmw,

If you can keep this rate of growth up, then it is not a problem. But if you will have trouble sustaining this growth rate in the future, it would be wise to try to meter it, and decrease the amount of new links you are adding each week. A sudden and steep drop in new links would alert the SEs that something is up, and that the link-building might have been a spam effort.

    hey,

thanks everyone for the comments. i'll be getting that amount of links by working bloody hard lol. lots of articles taking up most of my day and then submissions taking up the other part of my day.

My website is about 4-5 months old now, and i have about 150 pages all indexed.

I don't see how this could be a possible problem for a 5 month old site with 150 pages indexed. Would someone actually dispute that??

Man, you are working your butt off! Wanna throw a few artiles my way with all of your spare time? lol

Out of curiosity, how many backlinks do you have now? Are you getting search engine traffic now?

    :O)

Still your article content is unique and high quality content,
First of all it should be placed on your website.
Though for the new website I will not recommended it.
Just keep in mind new born baby can learn how to walk first not to run.

You need to make sure that articles first get crawled on your website. If your article gets crawled on a popular article website, then it could eventually lead to duplicate content penalty ( unless and until you have live link pointing back towards your website in each and every article)

You should try submitting articles as given below :-

    1-10 articles heading "seo expert"
    10-20 articles heading "seo specialist"
    and so on.

make sure to change title after an interval of 10-20 articles. ;)
