With all the directory and other types of submitters out there, it is relatively easy to rapidly get links pointing to a website. But I have also heard that too much too fast can land your site in the supplemental index for good. What is everyone's experience?
I don't think I've ever had a problem with too many links. Just had another post go front-page on a social site and Google is now showing 1600+ links to that page. Definitely ranks in the top five for its keywords, just a shame that its low traffic
Isn't supplemental more to do with duplicate content, and not numbers of backlinks? Remember its not wrong to promote your website, getting plenty of backlinks, and sometimes fast is fine.
Back links aren't that promising any more.. [bad experience for a friend of mine.., wont go down that road again.. lol]
