is too many directory links bad ?

I know thats prob a stupid qs but i really need to know. I might have a guy do 4500 a month a aset price while my seo guy does other work ... ? Let me know if this is a bad idea on my way to top of google lol Thanks guys!

 

I don't think it is bad . the question should be : is it useful? not so sure.

 

I think it can't be considered bad but at the same time not too good either.

 

Back links is not harm to any site. But 4500 / months means using any tool to do it this will be harm to the site

 

4500 directory submission a month? how many directories your guy can submit to in total? there are not that many quality directories so submitting to 20,000 or more directories will probably not give you much of a benefit. i would suggest you to submit to the quality directories. if you submit to a good list of 1000 directories, that should be enough for directory submission. dont just do all directories, diversify your link building campaign and use other forms of link building as well

 

Don't submit in may directories in a month. Try to submit only 30 to 40 / day. It is enough.

And in future, Google may not give the Importance to the links from directories.

Try to get, quality backlinks.

i don't think it will be harmful, keyword always eager for backlink to get batter rank in search engine but still need to be careful.....

If you're adding site in useless directories or depending ONLY on directories, you might be just losing your time and money. Also merely directories listing will not help you in ranking top position in google.

 

As long you have links form appropriate catagories it should be fine.

It won't hurt but it won't help except for uncompetitive keywords. Don't just rely on directory submissions but mix in other forms of link-building.
