Is this WP theme too plain?

Its got everything I'm looking for in the template. My only concern, is that it might look too "plain" because its only gray and white. I'd be using the template for a news type blog about actors. Just wanted a couple opinions before I make a final decision choosing it.

 

I like your use of gradients, but yes, it's a bit too plain. Actually, I think your main problem is that it's too monochromatic. Try introducing a second color to your colorscheme, red seems to work well with white/greys.

 

Its okay, but it is to plain. Needs more color.

 

I was looking at the theme when I was setting up my blog. This looks simple (I would not call it plain). Looks very clean.

The only problem is that it might look cluttered when you start adding ads. Most ads are not white (especially when they are images).

I like the simplicity of the template but agree that it does look a bit too plain with regards to colour. Maybe try adding some red into the design as 8everything suggested.

 

Yes, too too plain, and the logo looks faded.
There are way better templates out there.

I personally enjoy the theme. Maybe adding a deep reddish color to the scheme would be great. I do agree that adding banners and such could easily distract from the color shceme however.

It seems most people dont prefer it however and the "majority" preference is what should matter most.
