I consider using a premium Wordpress theme from elegantthemes.com on one of my sites. I'm asking because the posts titles and the titles in the sidebar (e.g.: Recent Posts) don't appear to be text. I cannot select the text of a post title with my mouse. Also, I'm not sure if there are the h1 tags in the post titles.
It uses the Cufon font replacement for the titles and sidebar headers. Which is fine, search engines will see just plain text. And it uses H2 tags in the Post Titles on the front page.
Wordpress themes are for you to design, plan and monetize your blog. It wouldn't contribute much on SEO factor, apart from some preset setting for permalinks, Header tag, etc...Just stick to fundamental on page SEO and proper backlinking strategies Cheers, MingJong
