Is this within the TOS?

    Hi,

Does this page comply with Adsense TOS?

    Mesothelioma Lawyer defense

I would normally post this stuff within my trading blog

    Trading with the Edge

but wanted to do something more optimised which is why it's on it's own page.

The page itself is about how investors and speculators can protect themselves (or profit) from the havoc that mesothelioma lawsuits can have on stock prices.

For some reason I just seem to get ads for options trading!!!

    Kind regards,

    fcmisc.

As far as having the images above the ads, it is fully within the TOS

Try getting it cached, that seems to help in some cases.

The fourth one doesn't show. Check the source on that page.

How many adunits are allowed? I have ad units and one link unit (there's 4th that's commented out and isn't supposed to appear).

Also, Arnie, what do you mean by "I don't see metas"?

3 adunits, plus 1 adlink unit, plus 2 search units per page are allowed.
Four adunits were visible when I looked at the source of this page. So you have reduced them to two.

I don't see meta tags for this page. Most robots use meta tags to crawl your site. If they don't find meta tags they might not crawl the page at all.

There are many meta tags generators available online and for free

Thanks for the responses guys. And sorry for flooding this thread earlier. I had a connection problem.

I now believe that I'm fulfilling the ToS with regards to number of ad units. However, what I was really after was whether or not I fulful the ToS in terms of content. I read an article about how a page about Vioxx lawyers was banned as it was there for high paying keyword placement only. While I can't lie about the high paying nature of my targetted keywords, I don't think that anyone else has written about protecting investments from these litagation lawsuits. So I guess I might be on gray ground in this respect.

    Regards,

    fcmisc.

I believe your content is within the TOS, but it's obvious you are targeting high paying keywords like Mesothelioma, etc... but your google ads do not appear to be targeting those keywords? Not sure why that is, but it may be that you have overused those keywords on that page, which might be causing those keywords to be ignored?

You have the right idea targeting mesothelioma, but your ads are not reflecting that.

Freakrot, thank you for your honest and straightforward appraisal.

Do you mind if I ask which country you're from? The reason I ask is that I'm from the UK and only see option trading adverts on my mesothelioma page. I have a feeling that I may not get the mesothelioma ads because they are targetted towards a US audience.

Could anyone comment on this if I'm wrong?

I am in the U.S.! And I am also seeing the options trading ads.

I have noticed with my own site that adsense doesn't always target ads very well! Trying to get targeted ads takes a lot of tinkering with the content. There are many times when the ads are so far away from being relevent to the content that I wonder if the adsense crawler is even looking at the page.

It's all about the content though. My site is mainly a news site, so it varies from day today depending on the type of news.

    Same here!

I think its due to use of following word: portfolio, strategies, speculation, Trading, stocks, bond, options, investors, hedge and so on

    Thanks for the feedback.

Has anyone had any similar problems? I'm considering breaking up my mini-site into smaller pages. With a page to describe each disease (and how lawyers are suing) and separate pages to describe how to hedge exposed positions. However, such a move would leave me with pages that contain no original content (i.e. the ones that describe the illnesses).

Another case of messed up ads is on my two sponsorship pages. My cat sponsorship page shows child sponsorship ads, but my child sponsorship page just shows random charity ads.
