Is this within the adsense guidelines?

I was looking for game cheats. Comes up on page 5 for that term.

I specifically like this bit statement above a adsense unit.

Is this legit or in the grey?

Looks pretty grey to me! I would think that the owner is asking you to click on the google ads below! I am sure it would be outside TOS.

    Just my opinion

it says plain and simply on the text link below click to enter and is linked to the site so why would it be wrong?

The owner knows well he is asking people to click the ads, however he tries to cover it up and probably thinks his story will be effective when he gets kicked.

it is against TOS in every sense. first of all u shd not use words on top of the ads that mislead the visitors to click. the second violation is that u shd not put ads on a non content page such as welcome page, login page, registration page etc.

That's very borderline as there is a "CLICK TO ENTER SITE" at the bottom of the adsense. I suspect he'll get away with it.

thanks jafar calley i guess saying click here is against the terms too cause here could be anywhere and i could be saying click her to sign up when it says quite clear as anchor click here to SIGN UP well we should all be shitlisted if someones gets the 2 confused so be it. its less of a crime then ramming a pic right next to the ad to hope they mess up and click the ad instead of the pic wich is url'd
    blah google no care man

One man's "blend" is another man's TOS violation...

Pretty clear to me where the ads are and where the place to click to enter the site is. If the "click here" were in 10pt Arial, then you might click the ads in confusion. But not as it is now, IMHO.

lol hope you dont own the site ;-)

In anycase they will probably get away with it until someone from adsense comes across it. Since so many sites show adsense ads they might never be found out.
