Moderator Please edit the title of the thread as: Is this allowed with adsense Hi, I just started a new video blog with Youtube Clone. Please check my ad placement and contents is it OK with TOS. Here is the Link:: http://apnimastian.net/blog/ Regards.
It's ok but you might have adsense disabled from your site one day or another, because of a section in their TOS saying you can't host file or make links to sites distributing file protected by copyright.
My answer was already enough: you can do it, BUT adsense's TOS says no. But in my experience they do not enforce this rule very often. I'm guessing they enforce it when they receive a complain. You can see many sites with adsense on them and copyrighted content, such as videos or musics or articles. But how long does the site have adsense, and for how long will they stay, we don't know. On the other hand, what I've read regarding people complaining about adsense disabling ads on their site, is that they don't have their whole account banned, just ads disabled on their site and threats by adsense that the account might be disabled if other violations are found. But, who knows, when they ban whole accounts for this reason, they will not detail why they banned the account. So it may be that often accounts are banned for this reason, but we don't read about it, because publishers don't make the connection between the copyrighted content they showed on their site and their account ban. Anyway, that's why I've said, it's ok (meaning your ad placement) and that you might get ads disabled from your site one day or another. But maybe you didn't really want to read such an answer so you kind of ignored it, or at least pretended it was not clear enough, I understand.
Well thanks for this detailed answer But i seen on many sites having content like my site and they very old sites but they are displaying adsense. I think Complaint raise on when you have the data like any official trailer or movie or any other program or any thing like this. what do you say?
Why put yourself at risk? If they find copyrighted content on your website, that just gives them a reason to not pay you.
