    But the site is a Pagerank 3 and has been around for 3 years so it is an established domain with many ranked pages. I could sell links for proly 10$ a year at least and get the money bak right away.

    Here I am back to this thread after reloading my Firefox. It has crashed when I visited that blogspot website...
    Indeed, "Blogspot.com" is a well established domain but you aren't buying it, just a subdomain of it.

    I wouldn't recommend buying it especially it being simply a subdomain with PR.
    Use the money and invest in another site with own domain and
    use the $ also to build up in traffic and links.

    As the thumb of rule of investment,don't invest in something common.
    If you're interested in PR domain,then you should buy the domain which not using free domain service such as .blogspot or .co.cc etc.
    This is due to the domain is can be revoke by the owner at anytime.
    For $150,i think it should be enough for you to buy a proper domain with PR 3
