HI, IM WORKING ON A HUGE PROJECT AND I NEED SOME ADVICE ON THE MOCK-UP I WANT IT TOO BE WEB 2.0 SOMETHING LIKE MEDIAFIRE, LOOK AT MY MOCK-UP, WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE IT LOOK MORE PROFESSIONAL AND IN WEB 2.0 ALL THOUGHTS AND ADVICE ARE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANK YOU
This is the link hxxp://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k141/tw0oexclusiive/ezposthire.jpg replace the xx with tt in the above link
Thanks i was thinking about that what do you think about the appearance? how do i make it web 2.0? what should i do in terms of design/color?
i want it too look like a real web 2.0 site real web 2.0 sites are mediafire.com slide.com twitter.com eyespot.com/
Web 1.0 Web 2.0 DoubleClick --> Google AdSense Ofoto --> Flickr Akamai --> BitTorrent mp3.com --> Napster Britannica Online --> Wikipedia personal websites --> blogging evite --> upcoming.org and EVDB domain name speculation --> search engine optimization page views --> cost per click screen scraping --> web services publishing --> participation content management systems --> wikis directories (taxonomy) --> tagging ("folksonomy") stickiness --> syndication
I think it looks fine the way it is. The only thing I don't like are the double stacking menu at the top with the rounded-edge blue stuff. Maybe have the bottom of the menu one blue thing with rounded edges and the top each text has it's own blue thing with 4 rounded edges.
Looks great to me. Clean. Simple. Looks like it has good navigation. Did you design this yourself? If so... excellent work. Keep it up.
This is the updated version hxxp://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k141/tw0oexclusiive/ezposthire_01.jpg Remove the "xx" from the Hxxp and make it into HTTP then click enter to view the site Im going to completly change the WHOLE page and make it more simpler. I want it too look like a million dollar site any ideas/thoughts/suggestion on how to move towards that goal?

Here is an awesome tutorial that will help you turn your sites to web 2.0: http://www.webdesignfromscratch.com/web-2.0-design-style-guide.cfm
Your site looks great, in my opinion. Web 2.0 is all about functionality, rather than the look itself. As long as your site is viewable in 1024 resolution and the old 800, all is well and fine. Your color scheme is great, what is it that you are still looking for?
If your site is on pure css with divs you can be sure that it is web 2.0... At least it is my opinion. Your site looks like it is web 2.0 compatible - very nice
Web 2.0 is more about interactivity with users, but from a design standpoint I like your site. Definitely web 2.0 looking
