Today(April 24) An Interview for Adwords representative was scheduled at Madurai,India..The Registration was about to start at 9AM(IST) but till now (10 AM IST) no representative has turned up from Google. The sad thing is candidates are waiting outside in the scorching sun and calls to Google HR team simply goes to their voicemail!!!

Is this way the Google would treat their future employees?????

They don't even have the courtesy to inform job aspirants?? The worse is nobody over there knows whether the interview has been postponed or delayed and there are about 50 job aspirants waiting outside !! and one of my friends is among them.(.He had just gone there to get a feel of it )

I think I would have second thoughts about applying for a Google after this bitter experience for my friend..

I hope someone from Google would look into all those stupid process they have.. and correct it..

Yes you are absolutely right, however such cases rarely happen in the west. It might also be because of the system which is working nearly the same all over the asia :D

Even this is a sad to hear and a lack of manner from Google side. But I doubt they would applied this kind of manner to their future employees anyway. I do not think we should assume all in all toward Google just for the one event happened.

Maybe only 1 person was going to do the interviewing. Maybe they got hurt and are in the hospital. I am sure people will get answers sometime. :)

That's sad but things happen sometimes. I don't think google is that bad and that their image could be evaluated based on such incident.

I have found that HR dept's the world over do their best work looking after themselves before others!
