Hello this is my current site [IMG]
is that breaking the tos? I have contacted google yesterday about the ad placement but have yet to receive a reply from a specialist. Your opinions?

You're not allowed to have any images beside your adsense ads.. I would say its against TOS even though its not aligned to the ad... its also very very close to the ad..

Really, odd since even AdSense's tutorial pages and (past Christmas presents from the) seem to indicate and advise this type of layout/placement. Did something change?

What if I make the border of the ads darker instead of white? The tos says that you may have images but not to encourage clicks like a big arrow pointing towards it or something misleading which mine are neither

Your best bet is in the answer that Google gives you back. Ever since they went to being more ambiguous as to what was allowed, I've always check directly with the source. There was a big discussion a few weeks ago here about whether a certain graphic was within TOS (as I remember, those of us on both sides had good arguments why it was or why it was not) but I don't remember there ever being a resolution...Google was consulted but I don't know if the answer was posted...guess I'm going to have to go digging back through the archives some!
