Is this type of text allowed

    I seem to be getting this ad more now:

    Inkjet Cartridges | Inkjets Cartridge |


    Was that recently approved under the new rules?

    I don't get the SEO benefit as its just repeating the same phrase plus it looks bad when displayed as I already have characters to divide.

    If this is allowed then whats the limit on repeating. Would this mean something like:

    Inkjet Cartridges | Inkjets Cartridge |Inkjet Cartridges | Inkjets Cartridge |Inkjet Cartridges | Inkjets Cartridge |

    as a single ad would be acceptable.

    There is a character limit so multiple repeating is impossible.

    I don't think it should pass either. 1) it's pretty much useless for the person who wrote the ad. 2) It's ugly indeed.

    I had ads declined for an exclamation mark (even though Google ads allow it). If a ! is not allowed then IMO a | is out of the question as well.

    Hopefully the person who owns the ad does the right thing and just changes it to Inkjet Cartridges

    They get the same benefit (unless they are trying to rank for "|" ) and they stop messing up my ad layout. :mad:

    I manually went through an truncated all ads with a pipe to only have whatever was before the first pipe. (They have all been in there since before the reviewers have been working).

    They have already been taken care of (all of them). You might have some in your cache, but those will expire.
