Is this true regarding Dmoz Listing

    i have seen so many ads on Internet regarding Guaranteed Dmoz Listing in $49


    is this true just because if am manually submitting my website to Dmoz till date didn't accept

    I think all that guarantees is that someone gets $49 richer, and that someone isn't you.

    No one can guarantee you a listing in DMOZ.. Not even an editor.

    If that happens, DMOZ will loss most of its credibility for quality of the sites listed. Payment to get listed is not true.

    Why can't you submit your site to Dmoz by yourself. I dont know true the guarantee and if your site is not listed can you collect it back?

    every website I tried to get into DMOZ was never added, and they were quality sites. The one site I didn't was added on it's own (I guess the editor for that category found it).

    I've said it one, and I'll say it again. DMOZ has many corrupt editors. I'm not saying they all are

    That's for sure. but there is no way one can guarantee links in Dmoz, most prestigious open directory project for $49 only.

    Hi dp friends, i'm the editor of dmoz. There is some rules in order to get indexed in dmoz(you can read it in dmoz). Your site should have unique and quality content.

    my company profile was added in regional category five yrs ago in first attempt with geocitis url. After 3 years, i make com.pk site and request to change url of prev listing. Changed within 10 days.
    But with 0 payment.

    I think it is not possible for anyone to offer such of service openly and advertise for it, it must be some kind of gambling or fraud AD. Dmoz is not accepting any sites due to large quantity of requests i guess.
