Is This True Google Adwords deduct 13% as the service tax?

    Hi my adwords accounts get suspended, and then i`m looking for some one that can run my ads on there accounts, i got a people from india Ahmedabad, he said that
    Google people deduct 13% as the service tax while deducting the money from our credit card.
    and then i told him that i was advertising since 2003 i never ever paid that but he said
    In india, Google people are charging us is this true can anyone help me with this.
    i`m from singapore i did ask some one from india he said google never charge him any tax when i ask them again he wrote
    See, google people are charging service tax & that's true. I will give you one screenshot of the billing summary, wherein it display the service tax that is deducted from our credit card.

    please guys confirm this

    Hi,

    May i ask what you were advertising before your account got suspended?
    Your not alone, many people accounts are being suspended and were just trying to find some reasons why.

    i made a mistake that have 2 accounts and get suspended both accounts i did not know that

    Were you operating both accounts the same time with the same credit card information?

    I fear I might be suspended sometime soon also:eek:

    I got into a big argument with someone a couple of months ago about multiple accounts. He said he and many others he knows don't have a problem, that Google doesn't care.

    However, it's right there in the TOS. You don't need more than one Adwords account so DON'T OPEN MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS. Don't say I haven't warned you.

    As to what Alex is talking about, India may have a "service tax". We have one in Canada called the GST (Goods and Services Tax). I believe Australia has one by the same name and in UK there's a VAT (Value Added Tax) as do most European countries. In other words, the government is in its legal rights to ask Google to levy a tax on their services (ie, Adwords click cost) for users residing in that particular country. If you have no such tax in your country, don't worry about it. In Canada, we have it a bit easier, the GST is only 5%.
