    Hi
Happened to see this thread in another forum where the forummer claim to have sold a 4Letter LLLL domain (it is not even a word) for 75,000 around May this year.
Anyone heard of it and can confirm whether this is true.

Wow.... I have more than 10 LLLL (pronounceable ones) domains so does that mean that I am on my way to being a millionaire (no harm dreaming once in a while :D ).
I have my doubts but just wanted to check if anyone know about 4 letter domains selling for such skyhigh prices
    :)

depends on the name. phyy.com or wrty.com will barely make renewal, however,
hell.com,jump.com,viva.com,kill.com and so fort, are good names and will catch definetely in xx,xxx -xxx,xxx figures :)

lkj, but the forummer from the thread said it is not even a word. If it is a word (like shop) , totally agree that it would be worth tonnes.

amnezia, true if it is company name can be worth a lot...but what big company names are 4 letter.... NIKE, FCUK :)

Anything is possible but it would all depend on the domain name he sold.

It may not have been a word but it have been brandable.

For example, COOM would be worth more than XQWZ even though neither are words.

I don't know about 75K non word LLLL.com. The closest I know is the INFI.COM for 57K, a couple of month ago.

if you have sell, sold, want, etc you can sell them for even higher prices.

    Just depends on the combination.

    Thanks

You must be kidding. As said, random LLLL.COM can worth that much.

love.com, multiply that by anothe 1000.

I'm interested in a 4 letter domain that has 100 uniques per month and is indexed by Google. How much is it worth and how much traffic would it need to be worth low xx,xxx?

Every domain is different, one four letter domain can be worth $1 and another one can be worth $10 million dollars.

No one can give you a hard fast rule as to what a LLLL is worth.

The fact that it's indexed in Google is useless and 100 uniques a month is useless too. Any decent site can pull that in a month or two after launch (quicker if you advertise).
