Is this TOO low of earning per click?

On one of my websites (a small one) that receives about 1k impressions a day and has a somewhat regular CTR percentage (between 3%-7%) just amazes me at how low each click pays. So far today I've received 54 clicks for a WHOPPING... drum roll please ...... are you all ready, here it comes..... ONE dollar and 36 cents...... Is this outrageously ridiculous or is it just me for expecting just a tad bit more from Adsense ?
I wonder how many other people are seeing the same results....

it happens. maybe it is smart pricing or the most of the clicks are from the same person. I had 24 clicks for 7 cents before and i thought it was the end of the world for me... but after a month, the cpc start to become decent.

    I'm not complaining about CTR....
It's just that I'm experiencing very very low earnings... well at least IMO they are very low.
For that website I'm avg. about 2.5 cents per click.... which I believe is ridiculous....
I just felt like ranting... and see if anyone else is experiencing this....

Depends on your topic and smart pricing... but yeah i got a site giving me 3 cents per click, the most sucky thing is it usd to give me $0.70 to $1.20 per click.

yea, thats lower than what I usually get. On sites like yours (I'm guessing entertainment) I probably get around .08 a click.

Needless to say, I don't make many of those sites. ;)

Yes - that does seem low, but that is better than what I'm getting. 7 clicks today for 13 cents...

It seems like when I add a new website the cost per click is a lot lower than after I get more content added even though I may have the same keywords.

My CPC has never been high. I notice an occasional big revenue click, but for the most part, it is very low.

I depend on volume to get my revenue from adsense.

Try and minimise the number of ads you are showing per page. Also, in some niches the advertisers just cannot afford the big money.

For one, I think it might have something to do with your niche. So yea, may be if you switch to a highly profitable niche that might help. Or maybe Adwords marketers r getting smarter this days and know to set their bidding prices very low.
