in whm in server info i see: Processor #1 Vendor: AuthenticAMD Processor #1 Name: AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 250 Processor #1 speed: 716.193 MHz Processor #1 cache size: 1024 KB Processor #2 Vendor: AuthenticAMD Processor #2 Name: AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 250 Processor #2 speed: 716.193 MHz Processor #2 cache size: 1024 KB 715mhz speed? what is that? he said to me dual core 2 2.2ghz etc?
Since it is a vps, you have shared resources with everyone else on the node, and probably cpu resources are limited, so you can't use too much.
look more exactly at the offer. 2.2 ghz core 2 duo is the box running the vps, you just got a tiny bit of it and even that is probably shared Check the offer, if it says you actually get that performance (2.2 etc) then take your money back.
Do you have a VPs control panel?? Like HyperVM? Try checking from There as from what i personally know, the server info shown is actually the server. Best is try checking using HyperVM. Still if you have any issues, Let me know via Pm and i will send you the way to check it.
Agree with the other folks - Your VPS has a fractional share (apparently about 1/3 of the CPU) of the physical server. You should re-check the offer you signed up for but this is a typical scenario.
a typical vps may have between several dozen to 500 or more sites on ONE server since most sites are hobby sites with a few uv/d thats fine. a server easily cna handle 20-30 thousand uv/d without substantial loss of uality as long as no one uses excess CPU. when you pay a few bucks (10-20 ) a months like most vps plans, then you never can expect to have half of a server just for you. if your site important and you have many thousand uv/d then take a dedicated server and you have full speed all alone
