I liked Blekko until it was temporarily discontinued when IBM bought it. IBM is going to debut their Watson system for internet search sometime in the future. I hate Google and cannot wait until they are toppled. If it ever happens. :)

As long as they are not stepping on anybody with their success we can simply be happy with them.

10 million daily queries is nothing but a drop of water in the ocean, it requires far far more to think of replacing google

True, but have you seen the chart of their exponential growth? Obviously, they will never become another Google, but a bit of a competition won't hurt either:

If possible I would like to see the comparison of DuckDuckGo traffic and Google traffic to see the difference overtime.

This is my first time hearing duck duck go.
Webmasters talk a lot about Google. We practically never mention about duck duck go in our discussions on advertising and marketing. I don't even know when and where the duck duck came in the first place.

This is great for DuckDuckGo. I just wish they had a different method of discovering new websites. Their current method of relying on Bing is very frustrating.

Any new company wishing to get near Google has to come up with equal service and/or offer more unique benefits to users.

It is never easy to run a long term business. It's a big team work. Top search engines build their business over years of hard work and smart work.

DuckDuckGo is making a significant impact on my traffic on various niche sites across my portfolio... most interestingly to speak of are my handful of free documentary sites which range from PR1 - PR3 w/ 800-5,000 uniques/mo from the major engines... Past two months alone i've seen an avg increase of 62.68% in the referral traffic from DuckDuckGo... the great thing about it, is it seems to be steady traffic now as it has saturated for months and is only getting larger :) Very excited to see more sites ranking & pulling in this valuable new traffic source #DuckDuckFTW

DuckDuckGo is actually quite a well known Search Engine. Part of my Search Engine Submission plan was made to keep DDG as my primary target.
Most Firefox users come across DuckDuckGo atleast once.
