Is this the end of linking to p2p software and video sites like youtube?

Today i received an email from a company called netresult on behalf of NBA

    We were told:-

‘your website is infringing copyrighted materials owned by the National Basketball Association and/or NBA Properties, Inc.’
‘I hereby state that the NBA is the owner of the exclusive rights referenced above and that NetResult is authorized to act on the NBA’s behalf with respect to internet monitoring and compliance. On behalf of the NBA I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that use of the content in the manner complained of is not authorized by the NBA, its agents, or the law.’

When asked for more information we were told that not only the linking to p2p software but also to stop linking to nba videos on youtube!!?
Whilst we give the latest sports scores and information on our sports page worldtvpc.com/live, we also provide links to various software channel streams. These P2P programs include pplive, pcast, tvants, sopcast, tvuplayer amongst others. These software streams are all hosted on other servers but we just provide links to them, however it seems websites are being clamped down on, and this may be the end for linking to this type of software.Although we do not advertise nba or show any nba information, the very fact that you can watch nba from these p2p software channels is enough that we have to remove the links.

There are many websites giving links to these various software programs and many more linking to youtube videos of sports such as nba, football etc.. Will they be targeted next, and will the other sports organisations follow suite?
