I started a link directory in my forum with link mod. I am having a link in that. for example check this. http://www.belmos.com/index.php?action=links;cat=13 Here hover your mouse over the link "Problogger", you won't see http://www.problogger.net in status bar, you only see my website link, which redirect to www.problogger.net. is this a backlink.
no this is not count as backlink because in that anchor text url is different. so this is not count as backlink if you want to bakclink from that anchor text then you must give that link to this anchor text.
It is a 'link', but most peoplewont count it as a 'backlink'. Reason - heres the href:- <a href="http://www.belmos.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=393123f2262fe2f576a3894263023e82&action=links;sa=visit;id=1" target="blank">Problogger</a> as you can see, it doesnt link to problogger. It links to belmos.com (which presumably does a redirect out to problogger). It won't pass any link juice, so most people won't regard it as a backlink, in teh same was as if you coded it up as a javascript jump.
No, this will not be treated as a backlink. Google treat only simple HTML links as backlink. For this the code should be <a href="website URL">Anchor Text</a> . this is true for almost every search engine.
