this blending is pretty crzy, but is it against the TOS? i dont think it is since no adsense code is edited.. its simply put inside of a table.

I would say you are in possible borderline violation with the gray box that contains a mixture of Google ads and similar text ads that could easily be confused with the Google ads. Personally, even though there are sites getting away with much worse, I wouldn't do it. I would make the non-Google ads a little different somehow -- separate box, different color, etc.

Here's the sentence in the Program Policies that I would be concerned about: "we do not permit....This would also include ads throughout the site that mimic Google ads or otherwise appear to be associated with Google on your site."

yes, but what stackman wanted to say, these links could be confused with Google ads and Google does not allow anything that, as they say "mimic Google ads or otherwise appear to be associated with Google on your site."

I guess, in my opinion, it would be just a matter of could they not be confused as Google ads because they don't have the "Ads by Goooooogle" notice?

But I'm not a legal counselor you know...

I wouldn't count on Google inspecting so closely to determine that these aren't paid links. Just my opinion; you can do as you wish.

I think its just about OK. I saw another site where they had 3 of those ads, with every box seperated by a box of content and there was no way whether you could tell they were ads or not.

I only realized now that I haven't actually said anything about the actual blending - as far as the layout and ingenuity to blend these ads into your website layout, I think that's just awesome. I totally agree with everybody else who like it as well.

But I was commenting on the other side of the coin, whether Google would like it as well... ;)
