Is this standard procedure? - Afternic: DLS Premium Promotion network

    Hi All,

I listed one of my domains with Afternic and received a PM telling me "Congratulations! Your domain(s) meet our highest quality standards. This means they are eligible to be listed on our exclusive DLS Premium Promotion network".

However to do this, it seems I need to pay minimum $7.75 to "move the registrar", can't I do this myself!?

Is this standard procedure, what does it mean and does it mean my domain is more likely to be sold?

    Many thanks,

    Sam

I think it just means you added this domain to your afternic portfolio but selected the "Premium Promotion" instead of the regular one.
Now Afternic sees that this domain that you want to start a premium promotion for isn't registered on their registrar (or partner registrars) so they send this email so you would transfer it first so it can qualify for this premium listing.
    Not worth the effort IMO...
