I would considder this acceptable. The links all direct to seperate content pages and isn't crossing the hundred barrier.
I believe this is somewhat the limit for placing on a single page to stay within google guidelines. Guidelines that i can not present you as of now but i have read this somewhere.

The presentation of these links are somewhat ugly and inefficient in usability but regarding effectiveness i think it isn't a wrong thing to do.

Maybe i am wrong here so if anyone has different point of view i am as well al ears. :)

I agree that the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. Didnt want to spend too much time formatting the phrases if they were a definite NO NO!!

    Thanks for your feed back

I wouldnt recommend placing all of those links in one place in a page, especially that there isnt any text between them, this might trigger a spam filter on Google, its safer to avoid it.
I would place those links on a site map with a description beside each link about the page that the link is pointing to.

This isn't spam but I don't know if a search engine may interpret it as link/keyword stuffing... Probably not.

What were they linking to? Cheap prescriptions?

It looks kind of dangerous to me. The text is repeated over-and-over again, there are no line breaks, and no other text in between.

But I wouldn't expect this is any different than a large number of sites who have cluttered nav menus at the bottom of each page with repeated keywords (maybe so that they match page titles).

Also, the links might be easier to read if they had hover colors. Just my 2 cents...

The way those links are grouped together and the repetition in each link of the words "Horse Riding Holidays in" make them look like spam at first impression but, in reality, they are just internal links directed to pages with the same name. No harm done. There is no rule to how many internal links you can have that I know of.

If you set them up menu like, I don't see how Google will classify them as spam. I would change the site map to include the full title for each of those pages so the repetition of keywords, in the links, are the official page's links name. I would add them, in a menu format, to the bottom of the left column in all the pages. For 4 months I have been doing, kind of, the same thing in my site for the internal linking and so far I haven't had a problem with it. It's just my opinion, though.

One curious thing, your site map page is the only PR4 according to the Google bar. The home page and the others are PR3, PR2 or PR0.

Your site look nice and good to me. Good luck! :)

One the best rules is to design for the user - and that bunch of links is not good for users (to hard to read clearly and find what you want). I'd suggest having a vertical column with links as they are easier to read.

    Yes the PR is weird!!

Working to add new, fresh content and build unique information yes really dont get too much PR for it.

Out of interest the site map ranks highly on MSN too. Higher than my home page a lot fo the time.

Any suggestions on how to get my home page higher PR than my site map:confused:

Have also changed links to list format

I like to suggest something that will get rid of the spammy look, it will increase the page's content and will make it more attractive to the reader?

In each of these links take you to an specific, country related, article page. I will just add a bit from each page to the link as a link description. See an example below:

Horse Riding Holidays in Argentina The land of Gauchos, Asado, Pampas and Tangos.

It wouldn't even be hard to do since you already have the content to pick the description from. Good luck. :D

I got no idea on fixing the PR :(
