Is this social bookmarking site useful for getting links?

I just came across a bookmarking site called:

    http://www.linqued.com/

Has anyone tried it. And are the links dofollow or nofollow?

    Thank you

Nope... useless.... the links are dofollow, but they are redirects, so there's no seo benefit.

Just between you and me and others who read this, there are benefits, not as good as a straight up link, but still a good old do follow.

No seo benefit, and when asking about nofollow and dofollow.... people are curious about seo benefit....

I've noticed that some redirected links to my site are listed in my Google Webmaster Tools External Links Lists, so at least Google finds and records some of them. I also read somewhere that some types of redirects can pass PR. But I don't know if this means they provide "SEO benefit" or not. Maybe it depends on the way the redirect is done. Perhaps a really knowledgeable programming expert would have the answer.

It surely is of some use. SE tracks it even if yr links are from Bookmarking sites.

    Hi,
    Yes, it is.

    1. Not all SB's using NoFollow or Redirect.
    2. Not all SE's care about NoFollow.

    I would rather try Blogs
    they are intense effective
you will generate tons of traffics from blogs
and you will getting tons of traffics as well

and SE loves blogs, because blogs are hand written contents
but many people just too lazy to write contents

That social bookmarking site is using 301 permanent redirects for the listed sites. Because of this, there are SEO benefits to the links.

    Redicts not necessarily worthless
Google knows where a redirect ends up
thus where a redirect links to

I am actually pretty sure that redirects are counted as regular links
    even by google

Some social bookmarking site had exchange thier policy. The put "nofollow" in their links. So we have to pre-check before register thier sites.

They are 301 permanent redirect. Though the backlinks will not show in google webmaster tools (or yahoo site explorer), these links will contribute towards SEO (both PR and SERP).. They are beneficial for PR as well.
