Based on these samples: August: 3173 clicks - average of $0.107 per click. September: 5289 clicks - average of $.085 per click. October: 435 clicks - average of $.06 per click. So obviously there is a downward trend here. However I'm still fairly new to Adsense (couple of months) and I'm wondering if one of you veterans can tell me if this is normal fluctuation or have I been "smart priced"?
Nah, I think it's just the economy. You are not alone. If you tend to watch your stats, I think smart pricing would hit you and level out. Take a look at Google trends using your niches main keywords, and it might give you some insight. http://www.google.com/trends?q=money&ctab=0&geo=all&date=2008&sort=0 I don't mean to say that search volume equates to click prices directly, but sometimes it can help in understanding yearly cycles and what not.
