    adding to duzins words:
all depends on what site owner wants in result, if he starting site for fun, then he will not want to put money in it, if he want to start serious business, he must put money. Meanness will not bring success

Man the internet is ridiculous. 3 years ago you would have paid $7000, enjoy it and work on building traffic bud.

Ok, I read the rest of the replies and you people are absolutely nuts. Keep buying templates from $1 with resell rights sites and getting your coding from 3rd world students. Jeebers.

The site is possibly worth $700 to you (and others too), but you certainly could not sell it here at DP for $700. Why are you spending $xxx, and dealing with a sub-domain?

its on the designers subdomain!!!! we are still testing it so i have not put it on tunerplaza.com and the site is not a SERIOUS business, but id like to make my money back atleast. just a place to show off cars. the backend is really awesome. you can add car make, and pretty much anything else. its cool.

I'd say you got what you paid for. However, it is interesting why you ask us after you have developed the specification and the designer has developed the template.

30k Challenge, all depends on your aim. If you want unique site, you must to develop it from scratch, if you want just a site - you can use 1$ template and script for $5.
But tell me, do you like to wear solid things, or things from second hand?

If it's a custom script then the price is ok though I feel it's no excuse for them to make an awful layout design like the one they've done. If I came across that site I would not use it on account of the awful layout. <_<

For a company to charge that much for a site, I would expect the front end aesthetic quality to be on par with that of the templates offered at sites such as templatemonster.com

Bah so much for my ranting and raving. It's your money mate.

    xD

In my opinion it's not worth $700. It could be custom or oscommerce based, but either way it's not worth $700.

    The design is awfull,

don't know the capabilities of the script, but probably with $700 you should have gotten a decent design

It depends who did this site, I think that for $700 you could get a better quality from freelancers…
