Is this site using an RSS feed legal?

    Hi there,
    I want to make a site similar to www.cigarstreet.com using the RSSminisite script but I do not know if it is legal for me to do this as it uses Google's RSS feed to display the news.

    Would it be classed as copyright infringement?

    Thats what I thought however someone said to me that RSS feeds are mainly to be used for personal use and not to be used as content for a website.

    just because it's a feed doesn't make it automatically ok to republish it on your site for everyone to see.

    You need to read the terms and conditions on the site the feed comes from.

    Permission to use something must be explicitly stated rather than having to be denied so if it dont say then you dont have permission
